Supporting Backpacks 4 VIC Kids in October and November

Every two months Dr. Bronner's chooses an organisation we align with to donate proceeds from the first 100 sales of our Deluxe Sample Packs. In October and November, we are proud to support Backpacks 4 VIC Kids.

Did you know that 45,000 Australian children are in an out of home care placement such as foster care? There are around 4000 new placements each year in Victoria alone, and Backpacks 4 VIC Kids is providing urgently needed material aid to these displaced children.

Often children are placed quickly into foster care, kinship care or emergency accommodation without much more than what they are wearing at the time. Backpacks 4 VIC Kids' volunteer team provides essential and comfort items to local children in crisis, restoring dignity, self-worth, and showing them someone cares. Since 2015, they've delivered over 10,000 packs containing toiletries, clothing, sleepwear, a torch, blanket, and toys.
