Revive your Skin Routine this Spring!

Now is a great time to revive your skin routine with Dr. Bronner's!  Some of our favourite Pure-Castile Liquid Soap scents for this time of year are Tea Tree, Lavender and Rose.  Our Baby Unscented is also an excellent option for those with sensitive or dry skin.  Read on to learn about the benefits of these scents and some of the ways in which the soap can be used (hint… it’s not just for your skin!)

Tea Tree

Woodsy and herbal, with notes of pine, our Tea Tree Pure-Castile Liquid Soap is a therapeutic and cleansing scent. The antibacterial properties of Tea Tree mean this soap great for acne-prone skin, and dandruff if you use it as a hair wash. Sourced from Oribi, South Africa, the Tea Tree Oil used by Dr. Bronner’s is of the highest quality, certified organic and certified Fair Trade.

Lavender

Calm your mind and soothe the body with pure French Lavender and Lavandin Oils sourced from Distillerie Bleu in Provence, France which uses Bee Friendly technology for a more sustainable future. The oils in our Lavender Pure-Castile Liquid Soap are certified organic, certified Fair Trade and offer a rich, cultivated scent, that is passionate and refined - a truly beautiful scent that is much more delicate than synthetic versions. In addition to providing Lavender for Dr. Bronner’s, Distillerie Bleu Provence also supplies essential oils to internationally recognised brands like Dior and L’Occitane.

Rose  

Delicate and comforting, with a hint of sweetness, our Rose Pure-Castile Liquid Soap has notes of Lavender and Bergamot, creating a warm, floral scent. Like Lavender, Rose is known to soothe the body and mind, so is great to unwind with at the end of a long day. The ingredients used in our Rose Pure-Castile Liquid Soap are of the highest quality, certified organic and certified Fair Trade.

Unscented Baby

With no added fragrance and double the olive oil, our Baby Unscented Pure-Castile Liquid Soap is good for sensitive skin and babies too (though not tear-free!). It contains simple, yet high quality ingredients which are mild and nourishing, so it’s a great option for people with eczema and other skin conditions.

All of the abovementioned Pure-Castile Liquid Soaps are concentrated, biodegradable, versatile and effective. They’re made with organic and certified Fair Trade ingredients including:

• Coconut Oil which produces an extremely high-lathering foam from its high lauric acid content.
• Palm Kernel Oil which had a very similar fatty acid profile as coconut oil, resulting in the same high-foaming capability without any need for synthetic foaming agents.
• Jojoba Oil which closely resembles the natural oils of the skin, acting as a natural skin conditioner.
• Olive Oil which forms a very creamy and moisturising later that is soft on the skin due to its oleic acid content.
• Hemp Seed Oil which is extremely high in omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, providing a silky-smooth after feel when the soap is rinsed off
