All-One Australia Initiative Supports Advocacy for Social Justice, Animal Rights, and Environmental Sustainability in 2024
Dr. Bronner's is pleased to continue its All-One Australia Initiative in 2024 as part of the wider All-One International program which launched in 2020. Click here to read about the history of the program in a blog written by Aph Ko of Dr. Bronner's Global PR team.
The All-One Initiative seeks to ensure mission-aligned advocacy is supported by the markets that Dr. Bronner’s sells its products in around the world, which is at the heart of the company’s continuing global growth and expansion. Through this program, at a minimum, 1% of Dr. Bronner’s sales to the Australian market each year will be donated to local advocacy efforts in support of social justice, animal advocacy, and environmental sustainability. To date, a total of $90,500 USD has been donated in Australia.
Dr. Bronner’s most recent round of Australian donations occurred in October this year when $15,500 USD was donated to Eat Up, Edgar's Mission and Seed Mob. Read on to learn more about these wonderful organisations, and how you can also offer support.
Eat Up:
Eat Up is Australia’s only organisation providing free lunches to students on a national scale. In Term 3 of this year alone, they supported hungry students at over 917 schools across Australia with more than 300,000 sandwiches, 50,000 pieces of fruit, plus snacks. To date they have provided over 3.7 million lunches to Aussie kids in need!
Dr. Bronner’s believes in social justice and recognise Eat Up’s incredible work addressing human rights and poverty. And the participating schools agree, reporting the following impacts of an Eat Up lunch:
- Concentration goes up 95%
- Participation increases by 71%
- Attendance improves by 61%
From October 28th to November 1st, Eat Up is asking us (and you!) to skip the cafe-bought lunch, pack our own lunch and donate what we would’ve spent to them for their National Sandwich Day appeal. To learn more and join us in giving up your lunch money, check out their campaign page here. Every dollar will help feed a child in need!

Edgar’s Mission:
Edgar’s Mission is a not-for-profit sanctuary for rescued farmed animals with a vision for a humane and just world for all. Through education, outreach, advocacy, community enrichment and tours, they encourage people to expand their circle of compassion to include all animals. Here you can read a guest blog by Edgar’s Mission here about their Kindness Pledge campaign which we posted recently in celebration of Be Kind to Animals Week.
Dr. Bronner’s believes all animals should be treated with respect for their well-being and be protected from abuse, cruelty, and suffering. We support organisations working to address the terrible plight of factory farmed animals, promote more compassionate and sustainable lifestyle choices, and defend ocean wildlife around the world. As Edgar’s Mission says, ‘every animal, whether they are in the ocean, the wild, or on a farm, has the same fundamental desire: to live free from harm, to experience joy, and to form bonds with others.’
We were lucky enough to attend a tour of Edgar’s Mission earlier this year – check out our video featuring an overload of cuteness, here. If you’re interested in doing your own tour, volunteering or donating, please visit the Edgar's Mission website.
Seed Mob:
Seed is Australia’s first Indigenous youth climate network. It is building a movement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people for climate justice and has a vision for a just and sustainable future with strong cultures and communities, powered by renewable energy.
Dr. Bronner’s believes in treating the Earth like home. We support organisations working to defend, protect, and preserve the natural world through advocacy, education, and policy change, especially, in support of efforts to mitigate and combat climate change. We also support organisations working for racial justice, human rights and addressing homelessness and poverty. Seed truly does all of this – with this year so far filled with education, community-building and direct-action campaigning throughout Australia.
A major component of Seed’s impact work involves working closely with frontline communities to highlight the connection between impacts that extractive industries and climate change have on Country, culture and community; whilst celebrating First Nations-led solutions already held by these communities. Climate change is one of the greatest threats facing humanity, but Seed also knows it is an opportunity to create a more just and sustainable world. Stand with them to protect Country! Visit Seed (seedmob.org.au) to learn how.
