Supporting Take 3 for the Sea in June and July

Every two months Dr. Bronner's chooses an organisation we align with to donate proceeds from the first 100 sales of our Deluxe Sample Packs. In June and July, we are proud to support Take 3 for the Sea.

Over 8.3 billion tonnes of plastic has been made since its mass production began in the 1950s. Only 9% of this plastic has been recycled, the other 91% sits in landfill, floats in our oceans or has been burned. An estimated 8 million tonnes of plastic enters the ocean every year. 

Take 3 is on a mission to fight back against this wave of plastic waste, and to inspire you to do the same. Through hands-on projects, research-informed solutions, and education that motivates action, Take 3 is working to conserve the environment and protect wildlife from the impacts of plastic pollution. And you can participate too - Take 3 pieces of rubbish with you when you leave the beach, waterway, or anywhere, and you have made a difference.

Take 3 is inspired by the turtle, truly ancient beings that represent the continuous connection between land and sea. Plastic pollution is devastating marine turtles through entanglement in debris and contamination of their food chain. Too many turtles are innocent victims of our careless consumption of plastic.

We owe it to the sea turtles to make plastic pollution a thing of the past.
